Details of what information we collect from you, what we do with it and who it might be shared with.

Q. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT FROM YOU?
A. We collect your contact details. We also ask for some personal details such as number of children and their dates of birth. If you are pregnant and enquiring about a newborn shoot we will ask for your due date. Your photograph is also deemed personal data and therefore is covered by this statement.

Q. WHY DO WE COLLECT THIS PERSONAL DATA?
A. We take your contact details so we can make contact with you about the product or service you have enquired about. We take family details to help us plan your photoshoot. We take your photograph because that is the service you are paying for.

Q. WHO MIGHT WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH?
A. We do not share your contact details or personal information with anyone. We will request your permission to use your photographs for marketing purposes/ in our portfolio / on social media forums / on our website and will not use them without your consent.

Q. WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
A. We enter your contact details into our enquires and bookings spreadsheet and we use it to contact you about the service you have enquired about. If we receive permission from you to do so we will retain your contact information with a view to keeping you in touch with future services and offers in which you might be interested. Your personal details such as dates of birth are entered into a client file which is created when you have booked with us and entered into contract for your photosession. Your photographs are stored in two hard drives and in a cloud based service which is bound by data protection regulations including those arising under the General Data Protection Regulation. We will always seek your permission to use your photographs on forums such as social media, our website and other marketing forums and will not use them without your consent.

Q. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP HOLD OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
A. After two years we will delete your photographs unless we have gained your permission to keep them. We will retain your contact information so we can keep you informed of relevant products or services similar to that already purchased by you the client. In line with data protection regulations, we will seek your permission to do this. We retain your personal information for a period of five years after which we will delete it from our systems – unless you have purchased further products from us and it remains relevant to our work with you.

Q. HOW CAN I ACCESS THE PERSONAL DATA YOU HOLD ABOUT ME?
A. At any time you are welcome to contact us and request access to the information we hold about you.
